'Tis the season . . . for me to begin all of my posts with some sort of holiday phrase, I guess. But it really IS the season for songs, caroling, doing community activities outside, and celebrating talent. And as luck would have it, I am here to tell you about exactly such an event that combines ALL of those things into one Westerville package. (Imagine asking Santa for the perfect musical gift and this might be what he delivers--and it will come BEFORE Christmas!)
What am I talking about?
One Westerville Caroling and Concert, happening on December 13 from 6-7:30 pm in Uptown Westerville.
This holiday event that is definitely fun for the entire family will feature the singing talents of all three Westerville High School choruses. They join in a high school triad to perform 4-part carols at City Hall. Once that is done, the students divide into groups and wander through Uptown Westerville and the surrounding neighborhoods performing your favorite holiday carols as they go.
And the best part? You can carol right along with them! The Westerville Historical Society will be handing out songbooks with lyrics. So warm up those vocal cords and join in the spirit!
