Fees, Forms, and Volunteers
There is important information below about getting your child signed up and ready to participate in the Westerville North Marching Band this summer.
We already have arrangers and drill writers working on the WILD show. In order to fund our season, it is important to start collecting fees. Please see the June 7th email from Booster Secretary Mandy Slack-Baker for specific information on the fees and the suggested payment schedule. You can make these payments by writing a check to WNMB and sending it to WNMB, PO Box 1914, Westerville, OH 43086. We are also working on an option to be able to pay online. I will send out that information as soon as we have it.
Included in your fees for marching band are the cost of the show (including the music arranger, drill writer, props, flags, uniforms, etc), transportation to events, NEW SUMMER POLOS with the new logo, show shirts, contest fees, and other participation costs. We will continue to work on figuring out fundraising options that can work in our current situation to help cover the season's later costs.

Beginning this year, we will use the high school athletic system of Final Forms for paperwork. You will be able to complete most necessary forms online and submit them through there. Please see the June 7th email from Booster Secretary Mandy Slack-Baker for directions on how to access and complete Final Forms.
! ALL FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ORDER TO START REHEARSAL ON JULY 20TH.
! EIGHTH GRADE FAMILIES: You will not be able to enter information through Final Forms as eighth-graders are not yet part of this system. Please watch for another email with information about how to complete forms.
All students will be expected to have a COMPLETED PHYSICAL prior to participation as required by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. The medical forms are part of Final Forms. You can print them and take them to your doctor or to a Minute Clinic/Urgent Care to have them completed. They are then turned in to Wes Elifritz, the Athletic Director at Westerville North.

LEVEL 2 VOLUNTEERS
We will need Level 2 volunteers throughout the season. Our greatest need for Level 2 volunteers is for Tag Day in August. Tag Day may have to change from our traditional format this year but we are still hoping to get Level 2 volunteers approved prior to the season. Completing your paperwork does not mean that you are signed up for anything but it does allow you to help with things as the season goes on. Please consider completing the paperwork so that you might be available if needed.
See Booster Secretary Mandy Slack-Baker's email from June 7 for the necessary link to begin filling out the Level 2 Volunteer form. You will also need to go to the Westerville Schools website to complete a background check. Please go to www.westerville.k12.oh.us and scroll down to the bottom to click on volunteer information. On that page, there will be an option to complete your background check. Please complete this before submitting the paperwork so that we are sure that all steps are completed and we don't have to circle back to get the task completed. Even if you are already a Level 2 in another building or have had it in the past, it needs to be completed again for the new year for each building.
