Last night, the Cardinal and Gold Warriors lost to the . . . Cardinals. So it is a slow start for the football team this year.
But what I love so much about these photos (thanks this week to Sharon Dewey and Aaron Layne) is how it shows the strong team effort put forth by the Marching Warriors family.
From marching into the stadium to perform pregame, in the stands showing school spirit, during the halftime performance, welcoming the visiting band, to the after-game shenanigans . . . the Westerville North Marching Warriors are there for each other and have a good time doing it.
This spirit of camaraderie holds the students and the parents together during the hard days of practice. It will shine forth to young people considering joining band in the future.
So always remember . . . we are winners every week because of how we are and what we do.
